and so it's finished!
This is my first stranded project in a long time. It is my first two handed stranded knitting ever. I am quite happy with the results.
I can see a difference in the evenness of the stitches in the body and the sleeves. The sleeves are more even with less bumps and both the background and the design color are more defined. So I guess practice is the key.
I love red, red is my favorite color and my favorite ever red combined with black. So here we have it!
I have to find buttons or clasps for it, the string that is hanging from the bottom is temporary I basted it to close it and get it on the wooly board.

Very rich and beautiful!!
Wow, congratulations - it's wonderful! I love red & black together too - I'm going to have to check out that pattern. I'm still "crawling" on two color knitting, and have a LOT of practice in front of me!

woooooeeeee! too gorgeous!
Beautifully done! Brava! :)
What a stunning cardigan! No doubt you will hear compliments every single time you wear it. I am with you on red. You need to tackle the Russian Prime next!
Your sweater is a real beauty. I love red, too, and can never get enough :)
It is really super. And my favorite color combination as well.
It needs pewter buttons or clasps to continue the theme.

Fabulous! I know what you mean about improving with practice.
Absolutely gorgeous. I'd never paid much attention to that pattern and I have the book. Will go revisit. Congratulations.

Stunning! I love that Meg Swansen book.
It's beautiful! Well done. From where I'm sitting the stitches look perfect on both the body and the sleeves. :)
Very lovely work! I must admit I hate to color knit but I really love when other people are good at it. Bravo!
