Spun Stitches

This roving was dyed at the Wasatch Woolpack Handspinners Retreat 2006. I got there just in time for the last batch of the Indigo pot. It is 8 oz of Corriedale. I had to pre-soak it but since I was right up against the do it now or never, it did not soak long enough. As a result it did not dye evenly.

As it turned out that was a plus. The yarn came out very nice, lace weight 1200 yds. Spun on the Louet S45. It is becoming a Wing of the Moth Shawl. I am finishing the last repeat of the Twin Leaf pattern. It is a very pretty pattern and well written. Once the sky clears out today I will take a picture of what I have so far.
