Princess Travel No More

I have knitted all the yarn I had wound when I first started way back then. The rest of the yarn is in the big cone. I do not want to have joins and this as little as is left I will just knit from the great big cone. That means that Princess will not go on the train with me anymore. No way I am going to carry around the great big cone.

In the picture you can see the number of stitches left to pick up from one side less than 30, but that means 30 x 2 x a bunch of stitches per row. I have read other knitters have formulas to calculate percentages of how much is knit and how much is left. I much rather not know and just knit on.

This is the great big thing it is right now. Gotta have faith!

The house is very empty without our beloved Rosie. Seems like we miss her more every day.

Princess is just lovely, Laritza. I enjoy reading your blog and seeing your work. I too, lost a dog to cancer about a month ago, and it had left a big hole in my heart. I know how you feel. But it helps to remember that Rosie had a wonderful life as a member of your family. May they all be sleeping on cushy couches and getting dog cookies all day long after chasing balls and running in the sun. Kimmen

It's all crumpled up! I can't see anything...:(

And carrying that big cone is good exercise :)
