I am thrilled! I won the "Lorna Tayler Award" (the highest mention at the show) with one of my hand spun handwoven blankets!
I wove this blanket during November-December 2007. I still can not believe it! There are so many beautiful pieces at the show, I am amazed that mine was the one chosen.
If you are in the area, do go visit the show amazing wealth for inspiration.
The prize is money, it will be quickly invested in the license for the weaving software I have always wanted. I have plenty of yarn, the software is what I need.

Congrats! Of course I see why you won - the blanket is stunning!
Well done! Must say I think it looks beautiful, do you have any tips? I'd love to weave a blanket from my handspun and at the moment I'm trying to spin a finer plied yarn. Did you used plied yarn or singles? How many wraps to the inch? How much does it weigh?
Hope this isn't too many questions! I am so impressed.
