Hidcote Garden Shawl


It took me 3 weeks to knit and 3 weeks to weave in the ends and take the pictures!

Yarn: 50/50 alpaca/wool mill spun by Spinderella in SLC.

Needles US 4.

Aprox 1200 yds.

I like the edge. I had a hard time getting over the "forever" that took knitting the first pattern repeat.

I think it is a bit too big for me.

End result= Satisfied

Beautiful! I'm so happy to see it, after our conversation last night. And thanks for the photo showing the relationship of the diamonds to the rest of the shawl. It makes it easier to see what I'm doing in leaving out a row of diamonds.

Hey, sorry this comment is late, but I just wanted to say good luck if you decide to enter it in the Utah state fair! It would be 100% Utah indeed since even the pattern was created in Utah!!
