Handspun Handwoven Blanket #2

Yet another blanket

For this one I processed the wool from the fleece. Washing, carding, dying, spinning and weaving. I wanted an Old English color and it did turn out that way. Here is a picture on the loom:

Here it is finished

Here it is with the other one I had made. This time I serged the edge and hemmed it on the machine.

I was wondering about the yarn, I spun it and hard as I tried I could not get it to fall straight. Seems that the tension on the loom and/or the fulling did the trick.

I am quite happy with it.

Lovely! I love those soft colors. If you keep this up with the handspun, maybe someday I'll be brave enough to try it too. :)

Your blanket is lovely. However do you crowd so much into a 24 hour day. Work, knitting, spinning, weaving...you are a marvel. I am continually amazed and impressed.
